Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions and medical history to determine appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in a hospital setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, night-shift environment.
- Valid state ID and proof of residency.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
