As a Night Shift RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during the evening hours. We pride ourselves on our supportive culture and state-of-the-art facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and mental health status upon admission and throughout their stay.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing supervisor or physician immediately.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding discharge instructions and ongoing care.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in the State of Illinois.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
