Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in various medical units, including Med-Surg and Telemetry.
- Assess patient needs, develop, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments; document all clinical data accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all hospital policies and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred (New graduates with exceptional clinical skills will be considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
