Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures and examinations.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, including hygiene and comfort measures.
- Document patient information and care plans in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Respond to patient emergencies and alarms in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to patient safety.
