Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and wellness.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist in trauma situations when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active RN License (or eligibility to obtain one in New York or Illinois).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required upon hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients if necessary.
- Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient safety.
