Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient health status in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist with procedures as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment by following infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of New York.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
