Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders.
- Document patient care plans, medical histories, and treatment outcomes accurately in the EHR.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond to patient emergencies and urgent care needs in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
