Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and patient status throughout shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and recovery expectations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Florida.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
