Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and responses to treatment in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current, unlicensed Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Recent nursing graduate or New Grad RN with a valid nursing license.
- CPR (Basic Life Support) certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
