Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress to ensure safety and comfort.
- Assist physicians and senior nursing staff with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and care plans accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-pressure, fast-paced medical environment.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
