Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse clinical units under preceptor guidance
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain infection control measures and sterile techniques
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license or temporary permit
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN required)
- Passing NCLEX-RN exam results or scheduled exam date
- BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
