Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and reactions to treatments accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care support with composure and efficiency.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- High emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for patient advocacy.
