Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, direct patient care and conduct thorough patient assessments to identify needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, clinical notes, and vital signs.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond immediately to any changes, emergencies, or critical events.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical-surgical setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality of care, and continuous professional development.
- NICU or ICU experience is a plus.
