Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical guidelines.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures accurately and safely, adhering to all regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions closely, alerting physicians to any changes in status immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
