Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, escalating concerns immediately to the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge planning, and health promotion.
- Adhere to all hospital safety policies and regulatory standards (JCAHO, CMS).
Qualifications
- Current, active California Registered Nurse (RN) License (or compact state license eligible for CA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
