Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, formulate, and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders and protocols.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA).
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (new graduates welcome).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
