Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, intervening immediately as needed.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and discharge planning.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
