Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Medication Management: Safely administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring all documentation complies with state regulations and facility standards.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure seamless continuity of care for all patients.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patient conditions effectively.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication adherence.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Ability to navigate Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently.
- Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
