Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.
- Monitor Patient Status: Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately and timely.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments, ensuring proper dosage and patient safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborative Care: Communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to hygiene and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records.
- Soft Skills: Empathy, patience, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
