Overview:
As a Registered Nurse at Ohio Premier Medical Center, you will be the heartbeat of our patient care team. You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions that lead to superior patient outcomes. We value your expertise and commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to all hospital safety policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg, Telemetry, or ICU preferred).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (EHR) and medical equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
