Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in strict adherence to hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans tailored to meet specific patient needs.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical/surgical or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and privacy (HIPAA compliance).
