Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.
- BLS and ACLS certification required (ACLS preferred for critical care units).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively during night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
