Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating to ensure their hygiene and comfort.
- Monitor Patient Health: Accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and promptly report any abnormalities to the Registered Nurse.
- Provide Emotional Support: Offer companionship, listen to patient concerns, and create a positive, welcoming environment for residents and their families.
- Assist with Mobility: Help patients move safely between bed, wheelchair, and bathroom areas using proper transfer techniques.
- Document Care: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records documenting patient care plans and changes in condition.
- Prepare Meals: Assist with meal preparation and ensure patients adhere to their specific dietary restrictions and hydration needs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and physical stamina to perform the duties of the role.
