As a Part-Time RN, you will play a crucial role in our clinical operations, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of medical attention in a modern and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and health history reviews, to develop accurate care plans.
- Administer Care: Execute medication administration and prescribed treatments safely and accurately according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor Patient Status: Continuously observe and document vital signs and patient responses, escalating concerns immediately to the charge nurse or physician.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and pharmacists, to coordinate holistic patient treatment.
- Health Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
