Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Document all patient interactions, observations, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
