Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of New York.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
