Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
