Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols, physician orders, and safety regulations.
- Monitor patient conditions closely and respond promptly to any changes in health status.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide thorough patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to all hospital safety policies, infection control measures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications and electronic medical record systems.
