Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict adherence to medical protocols and safety standards.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and recovery goals.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documentation, and electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, move, and transport patients as necessary.
