Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop comprehensive, individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to medical orders and protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and document patient responses to care with high accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care, health management, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and patient charts.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and infection-free healthcare environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends as required by the unit.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Willingness to adapt to new environments and work with diverse patient populations.
