Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed therapies while strictly adhering to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly documenting any changes or adverse reactions.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the patient environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia or Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
