Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide personal hygiene care and assist with mobility as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Respond to patient calls and emergencies promptly to ensure safety and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
