Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Patient Care: Assess patient needs, administer medications, and implement care plans tailored to individual requirements.
- Monitor Health Status: Continuously observe patients for changes in condition and report vital signs and symptoms to physicians and charge nurses immediately.
- Collaborative Care: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient treatment and safety.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, patient charts, and shift reports in compliance with hospital standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies, utilizing critical thinking skills and proper protocols.
- Education & Support: Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), and excellent verbal communication.
- Attributes: Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, maintain composure during emergencies, and exhibit empathy toward patients.
