Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient health status, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of acute care nursing experience preferred, new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
