As a Registered Nurse at Seattle Premier Medical Center, you will be at the forefront of patient care, leading a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the highest standards of health and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other health team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the attending physician immediately.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, demonstrating critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg, ICU, or ER experience preferred).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in high-volume environments.
