Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and document clinical outcomes using EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Adhere to JCAHO standards, infection control protocols, and safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance audits
- Provide mentorship to nursing students and new staff members
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact license with quick AZ endorsement)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry/ICU settings
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for leadership track)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Valid AZ driver's license for mobile unit assignments
