Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, documenting all clinical findings accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Adhere to all safety standards, infection control procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Arizona or Florida.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients as necessary.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
