Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical findings.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical-surgical or similar setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
