Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient progress, outcomes, and any changes in status accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada (or compact state).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (ICU/Telemetry/Med-Surg preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
