Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities immediately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist in code situations as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Texas (or willing to obtain IL license).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
