Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and continuously assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to all infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families of diverse backgrounds.
