Your Role
As a Registered Nurse at Tampa General Hospital, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring the comfort and recovery of our community members. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality medical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, documenting changes immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and discharge planning.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg or ICU preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
