Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with medical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition, promptly reporting any changes or abnormalities.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, reactions, and treatments accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies and perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ACLS) as needed.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with experience in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
