Responsibilities
- Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and symptoms, documenting changes and reporting critical issues to the charge nurse immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
