Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and accurate patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient medical history, vital signs, and progress notes in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical incidents within the unit.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Computer proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
