Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and oncology
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and post-discharge care
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and hospital safety protocols at all times
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license (or compact license with quick verification process)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS required within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and crisis management abilities
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity
