Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical examinations and recording medical history, symptoms, or reactions to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene to ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
