Responsibilities
- Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established medical plans and protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, identifying changes in status and promptly responding to emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (New graduates with strong externship experience will be considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
