Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision using EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Lead emergency response protocols for acute patient situations
- Mentor junior staff through clinical rotation programs
- Participate in weekend-only quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- 2+ years of acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications (current)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong weekend shift availability (required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with 3+ years experience)
- Experience in telemetry or emergency departments
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
