Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, measure vital signs, and record medical histories accurately.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during night rounds and examinations.
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean clinical environment.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including phlebotomy (blood draws).
- Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Administer medications and provide patient education on follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, with availability for night shifts.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EHR software.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
